Presented by The Welsh National Theatre Company – Literally translated, the title of this production is OLD REBEL. A new large-scale drama with music which relives the remarkable life of Evan Roberts and rekindles the unique spirit of the 1904/5 Revival. This is a story of the dramatic rise and abrupt fall of a man and a movement; a short- lived, yet fascinating, phenomenon which resonates with as much relevance today as it did a hundred years ago.

Angharad played the part of Elin, the young girl whose sometimes heartbreaking journey we follow throughout the production as she experiences the true consequences of the revival. Directed by Cefin Roberts, with musical arrangements by Einion Dafydd, the production played to sell out crowds throughout Wales
