Currently into rehearsal for one of the most beautiful and challenging collaborations I have ever been involved with.

A co-authorship between Deaf and Hearing Cultures, this musical in its organic form is utterly sublime.

To be working with D/deaf dancers has revealed aspects to these characters which would have otherwise remained untouched.

This whole process investigates how two Cultures can co-author a piece of work. How can Deaf Culture and Hearing Culture create a safe and creative space where one Culture doesn’t dominate the other?

Honoured and grateful to have been given the support to mine this complex yet essential question.

My team are incredible. Everyone’s want to achieve something unique is incredible.

We have created a theatrical language I have never personally come across before, interweaving narratives and language structures, syntax, to create a reimagining of The Last 5 Years.
