Best known for musicals such as Cabaret, Chicago and The Rink, this piece by one of the most prolific writing partnerships in American Musical History celebrates the genius of Kander and Ebb, reacquainting us with signature songs such as New York New York and All That Jazz, whilst reminding us of the sophistication of their writing with numbers such as Coloured Lights and I Don’t Remember You. This intimate evening is perfect for musical theatre lovers.

“Kander and Ebb are Broadway Royalty. A four decade long song writing team that produced such staged hits as Cabaret and Chicago and who made a star out of Liza Minelli. A pairing who were happy to explore the darker side of relationships, and whose songs are examples of some of the most wonderful lyrical song writing out there.

“It has been a beautiful challenge for these talented MA Musical Theatre students, getting to grips with the wonderful imagery these songs evoke. A Musical Revue means as a performer you have nowhere to hide. It’s just the song, and you, and your treatment of that song is the star. We have staged the whole piece as an intimate cabaret style production, enabling the performers to get up and personal with the audience and make each song their own. It will make you smile and cry and will be a reminder of what outstanding artists Kander and Ebb truly were and are.”
